As the quality of water continues to worsen across the globe, the use of filtration systems and reverse osmosis water purification plants is increasing in application. The range of size for a purification systems is from as small as 200 gallons per day of output to plants that will produce water for a good size municipality. The flexibility of size and configuration that is available make a Lifestream systems an option for an individual home, a group of apartments or condos, a small hotel, a marina and up to a small city of people as well as for a variety of industrial applications.

These designs have a broad base of application in a variety of export and domestic markets. Examples include:
- Small 500 GPD brackish water desalinators priced very competitively, suitable for individual home use.
- Two stage reverse osmosis systems to provide very low total dissolved solids for boiler feed from brackish water and seawater.
- Filtration units producing up to 350,000 GPD of water from contaminated water where reverse osmosis is not necessary. Systems include a combination of hydrocylones, oil/water separators, media filters, cartridge filtration, carbon filters, chlorination, UV sterilizers and storage tanks.
- Emergency reverse osmosis seawater desalination units, self-contained with their own generator, and trailer mounted for mobility.
- Systems for Lifestream traditional markets including systems for industrial make-up water, and land based condominiums, hotels, small homeowners groups that are sized up to 350,000 GPD.
- Development of reverse osmosis/ozonation systems for treatment of factory wastewater to meet local water disposal standards.
