HAZARDOUS LOCATION R/O SYSTEM BUILT INSIDE A 20-FOOT CONTAINER PRODUCES DRINKING AND HIGH PURITY WATER

Shipped to an oil drilling platform off the coast of California, Lifestream has constructed a customized reverse osmosis water purification system inside a 20-foot container which acts as the building. The system utilizes seawater and produces a total of 40,000 gallons/day of potable water. The system has the option to be operated to produce 11,600 gallons/day of water less than 200 ppm TDS and 28,800 gallons/day of water at less than 20 ppm TDS. The high purity water is used for turbine injection and the higher TDS water is for washdown and potable water. Additionally the system is built to hazardous location Class 1, Division 2, Group B hazardous location standards to comply with the needs of the oil platform environment.
