High Purity Reverse Osmosis Desalination Systems

 LIFESTEAM Watersystems Inc.'s line of Reverse Osmosis Desalination systems for producing less than 10 ppm TDS water from seawater is rapidly replacing evaporative type distillers in a wide variety of applications, such as production of boiler feed water, production of high purity water for fish and crab processing, production of water for bottled water plants and other industrial processing applications.
The systems utilize a two stage membrane process and offer the advantages of lower operating and maintenance costs, lower power consumption, lower weight, and smaller equipment size over evaporative distillation systems. Energy savings of up to 85% have been achieved over multistage flash evaporative purifiers. A standard line of equipment is shown with custom models available for larger capacity systems.
In the standard design, all systems are skid mounted as a single unit needing only power and water in, and wastewater out for installation. A customized modular arrangement is also available for situations where limited space is available for the unit, such as during retrofit of ships or factory processors. These units are also available in ISO containers.
